So I noticed that the seat foam on my driver seat is worn pretty bad. When I put my hand on the thigh bolster I can feel the metal bar inside that holds up the foam. Not to mention you can clearly see from so much use the bolster has pretty collapsed. I tried looking at LRS for seat foam but they don't have them for the SN95's only the fox bodies. I want to keep it cloth because from what I been told the type of cloth interior I have is somewhat hard to come by. Someone once said it was sport cloth interior. Idk about all that but I don't want leather, for several reasons, 1. I have a dog. and 2. leather is a bitch in this Texas heat! Trying to grab the gear shifter when it's been sitting in the sun all day is hot enough.
That being said how much would something like this cost to do? I wouldn't expect it to cost more than $300?

I haven't seen anywhere that sells the seat foam yet or the cloth upholstery. and I don't know why.
Not to mention the leather upholstery is $500.
I did get lucky and found a pair of front buckets off of c/l for $40 that was a direct match as mine.
Or you can do the Mach/Cobra interior swap.
Or get a pair of aftermarket buckets. I almost got a pair from Summit Racing.

Best bet is to take it to an interior shop to price out he repair. Not sure how they would feel about replacing the foam and reusing the OEM covers though.

Or get a pair of aftermarket buckets. I almost got a pair from Summit Racing.

That's exactly what I did, ended up being a whole lot cheaper then redoing my OEM seats

I had the same problem on my 98, but also had a tear in the cover where the bar was protruding through the foam. Looked for months but couldn't find the foam or the covers. Nobody sells either. I ended up finding all three seats for $150 on EBay. They where out of an 04 and are much more comfortable. They have lumbar support after you splice the wires and look a lot better. After swapping them out, I sold my old set for $120.00. Have the money ready and keep an eye out on what is available. There is a company that makes tracks to put 05 and up seats into an sn95, they are on Youtube and EBay. Fred

I forgot to mention that the new seats had brackets on the tracks for the seatbelt mount, but my 98 has them mounted to the floor. Had to cut those off of the new tracks. Fred
