Huh? Whats wrong with the stock latch?
he's meaning that he wants his hood to open like a Corvettes. where the hood lifts up at the windshield and towards the front bumper and not opening at the front bumper and rising to the windshield. if he had a cowl hood(to the window, like some of the foxes and larger cowled New Edges) then it wouldn't open like a stock hood due to the cowl hitting the windshield

i think it'd be a lot of custom work. i mean you'd have to reposition the radiator and all(like the Corvettes) and everything so that the nose of the hood could go down inside the front bumper. i just think you'd better get a hood thats not a "to the windshield hood" or like the pin on style lol

Seems like you'd be limiting access to the engine bay on the car that way. There are only very few cars that do that, and most of them are double hinged cars, such as old bmws, where the hood hood goes almost past the entire front bumper.

I hate reverse hoods. They're annoying. Ask me how I know.

could be done but would be tricky making it work properly and would proply have to run hood pins by the cowl panel. hears one of many sights that make custom hinges alot of mini truck sights make one off stuff like this too this is the first one i came up with when i googled it to give you an idea of what you would have to use. http://www.watsons-streetworks.com/hood_deck.html

i've seen it. all custom but can't be that hard. move the battery to the trunk and you have plenty of space on both sides. make it double hinged so it goes up and forward.
