Looks sick man!

Question...how do you have your stuff actually mounted to the car?

i have a wooden panel running across the back covered in black vinyl that is attached to the rear trunk floor. i just use a small bolt to attach the box to the wood. make sense?

and thanx JB

no isobaric is an entierly different type of enclosure where the two would share one enclosure, as well as seperate enclosures(one sealed one ported).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isobaric_speakers

Just inverse mounting would be about the only way to describe it. Before anyone asks it can/will change the sound as you will now have a bigger enclosure with the combination of the magnet out of the box as well as the general shape.

looks sick man, i remember when i did that to my grand am with my old Rockford p2's, i swear it was louder reverse mounted...

how does it sound tho? i mean the overall system in the convertible. maybe it was just the car i had it in, but i had 2 15's in the back of my old convertible camaro and eventually took them out because they sounded like complete crap. rattled the hell out of the convertible and its components and then i could hardly hear/feel it lol. i even tried putting a 10 in there instead of the 15's and not much difference, just less rattle. still sounded bad.

thats a clean setup tho i really like it

yea you loose alot of sound in a convertible for sure. it sounds a tad better, idk? i just like the way it looks. the type of music i listen to has alot of tight bass and the way i have it adjusted with the frequency levels it sounds great. great for hard rock anyway. when my son puts in his cd's it does fn rattle the trunk so i just lower the bass asap, lol..

it reallys doesn't do anything except change the size of the box the woofer plays in so yea dumps isn't a bad example although it will change the tuning characteristics of the box.

yea i had to play with the frequency a little bit and adjust the gain (down) just a tad to lessen the annoying trunk/license plate rattle, lol.

alot of people wanna hide car audio as much as possible i however like to see as much of it as possible, lol. well minus the wiring and wire nuts...etc. but really i just like the way it looks in the trunk more than anything else. form<function, lmao...
