Ride Quality Question

I just installed some 2"lowering springs from Trick One that i picked up for dirt cheap. They did give me a 2" drop but the ride quality isnt that great, its a little bouncy. Ive never heard of these springs before and i cant find too much info besides their website. Anyway, will my ride quality improve with some decent struts/shocks? Mainly the slight bounce it has over certain parts of the road.

definately, i wouldn't cheap out on shocks/struts though. All your big companies (KYB, Bilstein, Tokico, Strange) will do the trick

Before you make another move you may want to go to www.miracerros.com
and do some reading on some of the shortcommings of the Mustang's suspension
and it's OEM components. There are a few things that probably need to be done
before springs alone are installed.

Then maybe check information on this site and others on:

Suspension components
Springs and spring rates
Caster/Camber plates
1" drop vs. a 2" drop and it's effects

I personally am setting myself up for a 1" to a 1.25" drop so I've done some
preparations and homework here. Don't be suprized if you find you want to go
to another spring set later on.

if your just building a street car up though you'll be fine with 1.5" - 2" drop. now if it was a track car, you would suffer greatly from the lowering.

Thanks for the info. I'll start with new struts/shocks for now and take it from there. Hopefully i could get rid of the bouncing. I wonder if sportlines have a slight bounce with old stock struts/shocks??

Get some 87-93 Front struts. They are the same as sn95 struts but they are shorter which is perfect for a lowered car. It was what I put on my 95GT with Ford Racing Springs

you can use whatever brand you want as long as its for 87-93

Get a set of Tokico HP shocks and struts AKA "Blue"

You can a set for $300 or so. Best bang for the buck, hands down.
