ring gap

well im going to assemble my motor this week and i was wondering what should i gap my rings(stock 91 bottom end with new bearings an rings) i was thinking .015" top and .017" second pretty much an n/a motor but i might spray once in a great while

When it comes to this, don't depend on heresay AT ALL. Get the ring gap spec's from a reputable shop manual pertaining to this engine. Too small of a gap results in broken rings and too large the engine will smoke. Don't play here.......
