When I first read the title of the thread, i also thought the motor gave out.
But seeing those pictures I'm traumatized to see that such a thing could happen to such a great guy like yourself.

Sucks man. So they gave you a ticket for running a red light? And didn't take witness statements? For one not taking statement's is bullshit that's a pig just seeing it as o another kid with a mustang that mommy bought him. Seen that scenario enough. I would fight the ticket have all your witnesses write a statement and go to court and sue her and insurance. But best of luck to you man and as stated earlier that we don't need another RIP banner. Holy crap!!! So sorry about your beautiful ride! Very glad to hear that no one was seriously injured or worse, tons of praise for helping out the driver who wrecked you - it says a lot about who you are. Lots of folks would have gone apocalyptic on her ass. As much as we love our rides; they are replaceable. People are not.

I knew I loved this forum for so many reasons. You guys are just like a family to me. I'm crying right now typing up this response. I never cry. But you all understand what this meant to me. I knew it would be hard reading all your responses though.
Thanks so much for everything. Once we find out what we can get from the insurance, then I can determine my next move.
And yes, I have excellent documentation of everything on the car since the day I bought it, almost 5 years ago exactly

People came out of the woodwork on this one. People I didn't even know followed me on facebook coming out saying how much they had loved the progress and reading my stuff.
Motivation enough to do another one. But none will ever be just the same. None of the same little quirks mine had. I wanted to keep that car forever. I had vowed it so many times. =/

Gave my statement to her insurance company this morning. I run this through in my head over and over and over, I know that light was green, I know that lady was speeding.
