Well I bought it off Ebay for 69 bucks shipped. They even have a video of some 6 1/2 ft tall guy shifting with his elbows on the console. So I'm SOLD!

I think that MGW shifter still looks a bit too short....but I'm freakin short myself (5'2"). I have a UPR shifter with the 'trick stick' handle ( http://www.uprproducts.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=172 I have the handle to the right ) and I have it bolted on the on the higher setting, and I still have to lean foward to speed shift or power shift 3rd...I still like it tho. Any longer and it'll be too hard to power shift

Yeah, I was thinking the old GM Muncie M-22 rock crusher tranny as well. Interesting that they name a shifter for a Ford with this name.

Does anyone remember the old hurst shifter handles? They were much longer than today's shifters and were very popular. Then again cars were much bigger and things were further away from the driver so you needed that.

In my Australian car I need to machine a longer handle for the Toploader tranny. I am only 5'6" and with the seat where I need it to be first and third gear are a bit of a reach. Even second and fourth are not the most comfortable. I'll machine a longer handle that looks like the factory handle and nobody will know. :thumb:

Daiuummmm 01Sport that's a mighty fine shifter there. I think that's how much I paid for my TRI-AX. Don't get me wrong I love those style of shifters, just time for a change. Oh yeah and I'm gettin' tired of leaning forward to shift. :crazy2:
