I have a 94 with a 347 stroker. The car has a excellent build list. Long story short is I changed the oil and it had traces of fuel in it. I knew it was running rich.... But not that rich. I've only truly gotten on it twice and one time it popped and smoked. It has aero motive complete fuel system.. I am just wondering why is it so rich. The previous owner told me the car ran great last December when he owned it. But that was Florida I am in Arkansas at 800 ft elevation. I don't think a tune would be that much issue..
Fuel pressure regulator?
02 sensors?

Help me out where do I start.
Btw I have a slot style MAF and Id 1000s with a smaller pulley to be installed soon.

I want to get all my ducks in a line before I tune

Lol, no, can't say that I do. I'm installing one in my car too though, for the same reason.

Honestly an AFR gauge can tell you a lot. If it's built, I really would install one. If anything it can help narrow issues down for tuning and your current predicament. It's a good place to start.
