running hot?

Ever since I replaced my stock radiator and fan, with the Mishimoto rad with dual-slimline fans. My car has been running hot, even in cool 65* weather, the stock gauge reads in range from M-L, on normal. It gets up into L more on the interstate??
Well, My brother hooked up to my car with his scanner, and I have been running from 212-218* when driving. It never gets above this temp, but I know I should be running cooler. And I have burped the system, twice, and replaced the thermostat, although I don't know what temp...

Help..? I know I need to be running cooler..

how did you burp the rad.? the old push rods burp the old fashioned way. but the mod motors are a little different in the procedure

Make sure its a 180* tstat. One of the first things I did and mine dont read any hotter than "o" in normal.
