Rusty header bolts

Looken to put my headers on but the header bolts that are on there are rusty and from the factory.Whats a good spray to use to brake them lose

exactly! use pb blaster. i would opt to use it a week before you change the headers, then continuously. if they are rusted that bad you'll want the spray to penetrate the rust.

I would recomend doing like they said. The one all the way down in front by the dist likes to rust from the bottom up. It did it on mine an I don't think that even treating it for a week prior like they said would have helped it but ya never know.

i did it on my header bolts because they were rusted solid to stock manifolds. it looked like a rust rivet. sprayed with pb blaster and lightly tapped the rust off with hammer. they were horrible. my 96 was bought in california, shipped to hawaii then off to maryland where i bought it. i think im the second or third owner.

Get a wrench and a can of MAN. Or hit them with your purse....

if that fails...try PB blaster...BUT if they'll prolly break loose if you can get a wrench on them

I couldn't tell where the rust ended and the block began on mine, I know how you feel. Mine was a midwester car that my mother drove nice and easy for the first 12 yrs so it never needed to come apart.
