I recently painted my car and i had some small sags in my clear. I sanded them down with 1500 and then 2000 so now they are just flat dull spots. Im wondering what kind of polishing/buffer compound i should use to finalize it and and remove those small scratches from the sanding. When i worked in a shop we just had jugs of the stuff and i never paid attention to it. Guess i should have paid more attention. haha

Since you finished down with 2000 Grit, you are going to need a rotary and Wool pad to remove the scratches.

As for products, I would use the 3M professional Line or Meguires M105/M205 to get the results you want.

Good Luck!!!

Fine cut polish, a medium or fine foam pad and some swirl remover, then top off with your favorite wax or paint sealer/polish.
