Im using an sct xcal 2, today i changed my oil, fuel filter, cleaned my air filter, and cleaned my battery terminals. i had the computer unplugged for about a half hour...

Do i have to reflash my computer since i had the battery unplugged for so long? or should the program still be in the computer?

One more question, last time i flashed a tune into my car the theft light was flashing, will this in any way effect the tune?

Thanks guys, my local tuner closed up shop and i feel like a D***, when i call and ask questions.

Any info is appreciated.

I have a xcal3 and when I left the battery unplugged for a couple of hours. Mine did not require to be re-flashed, it kept the tune. Mine also flashes the theft light when I tune it. I just use the xcal to clear the codes and no problems. Hope that helps. -Greg

When you put a tune in to the computer, you basically are importing a program to your computers hard drive, so think like your home computer, if you put photoshop on the desktop and you left it unplugged for a month, photo shop would still be there right...yep. so your good to go. You will lose all your OBDII moitors and recent fault history
