Sct x3 1019 error

For some reason I'm getting an error when trying to tune the vehicle. It will read and delete dtcs no problem pull the Vin information from the computer just won't tune it.

Do you have a tune stored in it?

The tuner is unmarried. Do I need to download the stock tune or something first? It does have a custom tune file loaded on it

when i get the chance im going to pull the ECU and see if its chipped. ive found JET and SCT both made plug in chips

IIRC, I think you have to pull the stock tune onto the tuner and then you should be able to install the custom tune.

Good possibility it has a chip in it , if it does not let me know and I can try to help figure out the issue for you

You know I never get lucky in life.... but today I did lol. Should solve all my tuning issues. I was for sure thinking I was going to ford for a refresh lol
