Sell?

So I'm at a crossroads with the GT. The motor is knocking, so I know it needs to be pulled. I have everything to do the PI swap in my possession. Here's my dilemma. Do I call it quits and sell it for what I can get out of it, and put the money into the '12? Or do I just fix the GT since I have the parts sans the bearings (and whatever needs to be replaced)? I'd be giving up a lot if I sold it (being a rep for the wmm, and co founder of the white mustang registry) but it would be nice to have some cash in my pocket. Ugh I hate loving/hating this damn car......

what would ya'll do?

Are you going to buy the 2012 after your 3 years are up? In my opinion, it's dumb to own two mustangs that do the same purpose. I'd just sell it whichever way makes you the most money, and pocket the money. Then you can save by only having one vehicle (less insurance, gas, maintenance, etc.)

i would build the motor in the gt, while you have the 12 that way you wont be rushed to get it done.

i'm with wckdgt. Since you have the 12 now you aren't pressed to get this car done any time soon. take the time and build it up right. keep the 12 for daily driver status, and build this into a monster.

Just keep the 12 as a Daily and slowly build the GT as time and money permits.

well i've made some progress...i got a 4.6 block out of a t-bird as well as a crank, over all looks great just needs to be machined...so i'll keep on working on it, but it'll stay on craigslist, if it sells it sells, if not, well i'll have the motor done eventually

I was in this exact situation with the vert...but I've decided to sell it and move on...I'm happy...but I love your car man, white stangs FTW :headbang:
