i replace my stock belt about 3 months ago because it started to slip. i bought dayco part #5060975 from autozone with 3 year warranty. i had a small squeal start slowly getting louder i replace the idler pullied and it fix it, for about 1 month know its back so i replaced belt tensioner pullied . so im thinking belt i go to autozone and get a replacement they guy recommended a belt conditioner (crc) i installed it it was fine and quiet the whole day yesterday. today early morning it was loud squeal all the way to work so at work i put conditioner again and was quiet. right know i hear a small squeal. could it be pos belts of another pulley i dont think i should have to put this spray every single time. thanks guys and sorry for the grammar

Hey Nitto.. Sorry to here that.. Did you get Anti freeze on your idler pulley? Or anything on your under pulleys ? Because that will cause a long term effect. I would say take the belt off and Clean the Pulleys and belt with Carb cleaner .. Seeing how you already have a new belt.

Both idlers are brand new top and on the tensioner this morning it was loud hahah annoying, but when I got to work quiet I did about a 15 min. Drive in freeway. Idk what else :(

Could be the belt itself. I can't imagine that conditioner would help it for very long. Coincidentally, I put a Dayco on my car last November, and have had no issues with it. I'd suggest a Goodyear Gatorback belt if you can swing it, this is a very high-quality belt that many swear by and it pretty much eliminates any trace of belt squeal. Just my $.02.

I had a dayco on my car and i am going through the same issue. i have 4 belts in my garage 2 are old and crappy might just through them away but i start out at work, drive to my house with a squealing belt and get home there is just a chirp. I slap on an older belt and it goes away for a day or two. and comes back there isnt any antifreezing leaking....
