the idler pully did have a slight squeal which cause my intial squeal when starting it up but it goes away within 45 seconds if that...there isnt much play with the belt... damn belt dressing should have never put that crap on!!!

Mine squeaks as well. I replaced the belt, Tensioner pulley, Idler Pulley and I dont have slack in my belt. Only makes a sound for a bout 10 seconds when she cold starts...

O man, I did this to my car one time. After giving it the belt dressing treatment to fix a minor sound, the car squealed like crazy! I changed out the idler pulley, the belt, and scrubed every ribbed pulley with a toothbrush to get all that junk off & that took care of it. Belt dressing may work great for some, but i'm staying away from it from now on. Hope you get it figured out!

Squealing is usually caused by resistance to the crank pulley trying to move the entire system. I would bet its a bearing that's failed. They seize up and if you force it a bit, they warm up and start to rotate easier. I would check idle pulley or tensioner pulley for play, or wobble, or difficulty rotating. Sometimes people will bypass a pulley for a brief moment to eliminate possibilities.
