I had recetly replaced the Neutral Safety Switch or MLP switch that is next to the transmission. It basically tells the computer in what gear the transmission is. My problem now is that the car does not want to go to park and will only start in Natural. After Jacking up the car and looking at it and tryed to adjust it now the car doesn't even go in reverse. I have tried everything to tried making it work and yes I know you have to put the shifter in neutral and the neutral safety switch in neutral lined up and then tighten the bolt. Exactly what I did over and over again... now im just :BangHead: and gave up till tomorrow.. What I also noticed it that then I manual move the transmission piece that is connected with the switch it moves more then what the shifter cable moves. Maybe is not pulling it as much as it should? Idk guess ill mess with it more tomorrow.
