shifter?

i have a short throw shifter from ford racing and its getting hard to shift, and has some play in it... want to upgrade, i was looking at pro 5.0 shifters, but still not sure.

I like my MGW, it's very solidly built and shifts good.

I have a B&M shifter, i've missed 3rd only like once. i really like it. especially compared to the huge stock shifter. lol

Steeda Tri-Ax here, BUT I do like the Pro 5.0 and MGW I have used on friends cars.

So your trans is getting hard to shift, and your first thought is to replace the shifter?

Perhaps you have bigger problems.

That is what I was thinking Paul...need more diagnosing first. how many miles on the tranny? How much abuse? Noises & vibrations?

im pretty sure the trans is fine.. the guy i bought the car off of took care of it very well... i jus dont like how it shifts so i was looking for a smoother shifting shifter.

the smoothness doesnt come from the shifter.

i bought it off a guy that drag raced mustangs, it was his daily driver... i dont know how long its been since all the fluids and stuff have been changed, i should probably do that.
