I would second that on changing the fluids. But I have to agree with Paul, if its getting hard to shift etc I wouldn't necessarily blame the shifter.

Maybe the dude just want a new mod, but he should also check out his tranny for problems, Im looking for a new shifter also. Thinking about B&M tho.

oh and the trans is making noise whenever i down shift into first and whenever it idles. its kinda hard to get it into first when down shifting.

why would you need to down shift into first. are you sure your trans is ok how about the clutch.

like when im coming up to a stop sign or light and im in 2nd ill sometimes down shift into first to slow down, and it wont go into first right away i have to like force it... the clutch is fine.

i never down shift into first. thats what brakes are for. you should not force it either. i think you might be messing it up yourself.

dont downshift into first. if the car is still rolling, you dont need to go lower than second.

first is just for when the car is stopped.
