Sometimes when I turn my steering wheel to the right, the car just cuts off. The engine will crank but not start up. I guess power stops going to the coil. After moving the steering wheel back and fourth, it will start up again and do okay for a few days. Today, it died while I was making a right turn at a stop light. It is not my daily driver car, so I might try to tackle it myself.

What do you think it might be???

the ingition switches in our cars are known to get warm and even melt depending on the situation. The steering colum covers are held on by some T15 screws on the bottom, take those out, pop the cover off and see that you have. It could also just be getting hung up on someting.
