So I installed a Pro 5.0 short throw shifter in my car recently and it works great! Except for one thing, it wont go far enough over to the right to get into reverse. It does fifth just fine but not reverse. If I take both hands and push very hard then pull down with A LOT of force then it will go into reverse. Is there anything I can so to adjust this thing to make it go over to the right more?:undecided::embarrassed::cry:

Are you sure the shifter ball is in the hole in the trans?

What trans and engine combo do you have?

the T-5 and T-45 use the same shifter but the 3650 is different.

Does it go into reverse with the car not running?

As already mentioned double check the ball is sitting fully in the plastic socket

Go into 5th then reverse. Mine gets locked out of reverse sometimes if I don't. Also don't come to a stop in reverse. Mine also locks IN reverse lol

It's in the tranny completely. 302 and t-5 stock. I put it in fifth and then try to go down into reverse but reverse is slightly more to the right and I have to push really hard in that direction before pulling it down into reverse. If I just try and use regular force it wont go over far enough to the right. When I push it over hard and get it into reverse it works but... thats too much work to back up ya know?
