stumbled onto a local sale of a 96 cobra engine with wiring harness and under 80k mileage for $900 sounds great i think.
except for the fact it has no intake manifold!
he has an automatic trans (4r70w)to go with it but with the price of the intakes nowadays im not sure if its that great of a deal.
thoughts? im just scared to snag it and then still be like 3k away from a swap being completed. im thinking ecu, intake manifold, TB, new sensors, and having the block run through at the local machine shop before installation.
and i do not want this auto trans in my car so i would be maintaining the t45 for now... is it possible to overwrite the 2v stock tune with a 4v cobra tune or is that witchcraft and wizardry?
