I didn't want to search because it's probably a simple answer. I have a '94 GT, can I bolt a 94 Cobra intake right up without any other mods to the tb and stuff? Or is it more complicated?

Nope it's just that, assuming you have the upper and lower intake.. I believe the upper-to-lower bolt lengths are different between the Cobra and Gt, but other than that it should be pretty straight forward.

yup just bold length is different. just swapped a cobra/svo intake onto mine about a month ago. everything else bolts right up. i did read tho you have to swap the cobra tb mounting studs out with your gt ones, but idk mine bolted right up, but i bought it from a guy who had it on his gt. def a worth while mod!

I found one local for really cheap, I will probably snatch it up tomorrow. It came off a 94 cobra so I will most likely have the bolts.
But I've never heard about the tb mounting studs

If you have a Factory strut tower brace you will have to remove it. The intake manifold is too big to have the brace there as well

So the factory 'vert strut tower brace wont work even though the '94 cobra 'vert came with them?(or at least I think they do)

Im not sure on the vert's you may be correct. but my cobra coupe didnt come with a strut tower brace i believe cuz of the intake manifold. You can get aftermarket ones that will fit tho.

Not positive on this so someone correct me if they know better

Cobra's did not come with STB's they came with a K member brace instead. GT STB will not fit with any intake (minus stock) so it has to go. Most leave it off since it makes no real difference unless you take corners going 50+.

you will not see any real gains from just the intake just as an fyi. I bought one and was not in a hurry to slap it in so I took some time and ported the upped and lower and hopefully gained a little more airflow.

I dont plan on putting this on until I get my tb, new heads, cam and port/polish both intake and heads.
