I hope this is the right forum, I can't tell with this tapatalk app.......
I'm sure this has been covered before but I want to know what type of exhaust or muffler I can use to quiet down my 306 that is currently running shorties, o\r H pipe and what I assume are 40series flowmasters. It hasn't bothered me before but I recently moved to a neighborhood that has an ally and I feel like I might be waking everyone up in the morning and at night.

You can start by putting your catalytic converters back on. Then maybe switch to stock mufflers if you want to go even quieter.

Dynomax Ultraflows on a pushrod with a set of high flow cats will quiet it down considerably but still allow amazing flow.

Yeah, as said above, I'd throw the cats back on. That will make a big difference.

I would love to do cats but that will cost me mucho $ and I "ain't got time for that" (cause my wife won't let me throw money at this car anymore). I figured a simple turbo muffler would suffice...

Yeah, in that case, there's plenty of pipes out there to help out your situation.

If money is an issue, wait for a used stock exhaust (or stock style) to come up?

It's a mustang, they are all loud and slow. Hence, having a loud exhaust and being fast, will make your car a sleeper.

I would find a set of oem 05-09 GT mufflers and make them work.. They're large enough to fit 2.5" aftermarket exhaust and will still sound good without the drone.
