My point is if you can smoke your tires into 2nd or 3rd then you have problems. Those guys that can burn their tires off like that are getting smoked by the guys that dont have that problem.

With the price of tires now a days. I dont want wheel spin.............. Ever!

Doesn't always mean their is something wrong in some cases....like "TOO MUCH HP or TQ" with not the right Tire, Slick, Suspension , Traction Bar, Torsion bar, etc. I have seen cars with slicks that are built for the track and have a train sized blower (That's where blowers came from) and he could smoke them in just about any gear he wanted and she had a stall I believe with Auto. Does that mean he has something wrong going on? LOL you guys crack me up how serious you get on some topics...its the internet people......chill

And I guess my mistake started also not knowing he was a Moderator. Next time I will be sure to find out I guess. Again, I apologize and if you met me in person you would find out I am one of the nicest guys that has a problem of speaking whats on his mind way to much....or speaking too freely about what I feel confident about believing. Your missing out on Xbox Live man the community is awesome you can join, play, invite, or just talk to people in with mic or texting ( I usually have big Parties every Night....at least 4 people but sometime like 9 to 10. A ton more people have mics and alot for downloaded content and other perks of having it.

The only fault I see with Ryclef is that he is putting a lsx engine in a Mustang instead of swapping in a 351w, which imo makes monster power, and is reliable too . Sleeper, Even though I disagree with ryclef's engine choice, I respect him for his knowledge, he knows his stuff. Someday if you ever DO really race your car, spinning the tires in 4th is NOT a good thing. I have that problem now and I hate it, I can't get decent track times because my car spins too much(street tires and stock, worn out suspension). The key to a good drag race is to not have ANY wheel spin, spinning tires=slower times my friend. I don't care if someone can burn tires into 4th gear, my old exploder would do that in winter no problem but it sure wasn't fast .

I know what your saying....I just love how it looks....and feels when you want to have fun I am trying to say. I myself had that problem with my car with 275/40/ZR17's (BF Goodwrich KDWS) then I reasearched the Riken Raptor tires (Tire read looks like spider webbing) and that is now on my car and I can dig in at about 2nd to near end of 1st. I should have explained myself more but idk just did not think of it at the time. I hated racing people before I got those new tires because I felt I would fish tail into them but I still raced and fish tailed with a 99 SS and was fish tailing right with him then then pulled on him about 4 cars before he hit the brakes. This car has tires like glue now...

I think you missed my whole point from the beginning. It was simply this...Dyno numbers aren't everything. Autos may Dyno lower but will be faster than a manual brethren. Dyno to make sure it's safe....tune for performance on the track.

I agree with you 100% with you for a change honestly on that post. I know all too much of Dyno Queens (Have seen alot of Supras that fit the "Dyno Queen" status, made big numbers but got beat by a car making less and I believe heavier). Call me up when you come to Myrtle Beach...I respect anything fast. Oh and what do you think you see most the time putting insane E/T's at the track.....Stalled...Built Autos...
