so this dude has a messed up 96 with svo side skirts and SLP loudmouth side exhaust and wants to part out the car, told me 500 for both watch think?

unless the svo skirts are worth 400 or more to you i would say keep looking. people end up not liking the slp lm1's fairly often and you can get a pair for pretty cheap. who made the svo skirts and what kind of shape they are in is probably the determining factor.

well the skirts are in perfect shape, i just need to color match them to my car, now why dont people end up liking the SLP's?

cause its loud as shit and very raspy unless maybe if you have the stock H pipe.

I have shorty headers, o/r x-pipe, and slp loudmouths dumped....its stupid loud, I love it, lol, I have a couple short vids on streetfire

dont remember SLP making a side exhaust kit.. he probably just put the mufflers on.. Ive seen SVO side skirts go for a good amount.. 500 include the skirts and the whole exhaust?


SLPs were meant to be with Xpipes.. people cry to much over them.. waaaa theyr loud.. yea they can get raspy. mainly the LM1s..

But if youve ever heard the M55 exhaust and love it????

If it includes the whole exhuast see if you cant get him down a tiny bit and get it!

try it man. id love some SVO side skirts., ESPECIALLY the real ones. but yeah the SLP LM1s are LOUD! ive got them paired to an o/R X...... even louder! not a great idle and low RPM tone but around 2500-3500 and WOT are CRAZY LOUD and sound pretty damn good! cuising and racing RPMS! lol

^ really mine sound pretty good at ide.. sounds o so slightly cammed.. and i can actually hear them.. but yes, getting up to 3k rpm and higher.. they sound fuggin awesome! not that i have LM1s.. but LM2s.. close enough to know what ur talking aout.

YEa man, if they are real SVO skirts and you are getting the whole exhaust system... Ide say go for it... You will like it..

Yeah idle sounds badass, makes it sound like my cars cammed, lol, anything below 2500rpm I think sounds like hell but anything above that is eargasm

Don't bother with LM1's If you can find the LM2's or Powerflo's sure go ahead but don't do the LM1's

I had a Catted h with 2 high flow cats. I ran straight pipes which is virtually the same thing as LM1's. Sure i loved it below 3 grand but after that it sounded stupid.

This is only below 3 grand b/c my neighbors were pissy at my old place, but you get the idea.

that is raspier than LM1s.. sounds like it wouldaa sounded good driving though.. and tell the neighbors to piss off..but luckily you seem to not live there anymore

and next time put the camera further back or off to the side.. right on shots with the tailpipes never seems to result in good sounding videos.. This video didnt sound bad, just stating for next time.. because i know there will be a next time lol.. theres a crap vid of my LM2s with my xpipe and race cats.. but ide rather not bring it back to life since the shifting i was doing was crap.

So yay! get the LM1s!
