Smog Time

I'd like to find a car-guy-type friendly smog test place in Southern California.

Anybody have any suggestions or recent experiences with the SoCal Smog Nazis?

socal is a large place? There's a place near me where one of the smog tech's is the original owner and daily drives a `90 GT, it's a gold shield (test only + normal smogs), if your car is legit but has aftermarket parts that you have all of your carb EO # paperwork in order for, it will work out great.

never had problems smogging my 97 or my 89 there, both have motor conversions and the 89 is an ex-4cyl with a h/c/i/procharged 5.0
