smoked headlights

I heard a rumor that smoked headlights were illegal. That isn't true is it?

I've bought 2 sets from BOI. 1st set lost it's reflective stuff. I was supposed to send them back for a partial refund on that 2nd set. Never did though. I heard to seal them up good. I have the 1st for maybe 2 years? Other than the reflective stuff, still looked brand new. No moisture, I mean. I sealed my 2nd's up even more. So far they have been great. I know I could have found some on eBay, had the $ to spend so I went back to BOI. I love how they made mine look!! I'm sure any cop will make a fuss if they want to! I get away with them.
