Gt rob, I mostly used scotchbrite pads but I had some 320 grit left over from sanding "spot sputty" on the mirrors where imperfections were so I scuffed them lightly with that.

And thanks everyone!
What do you guys suggest for my wheels? I want to powder coat them black and have a white strip around the edge but I'm still not sure.

leave the wheels the way they are. do not change them car looks great. It's different and you lucked out to find some cobra r's for that thing! i recommend maximum motorsports coilovers when you go that route btw. I have them, handles damn good.

Thank you everyone! I have some good and bad news though. Bad news is a week from today on my way to work I got a flat:( good news is later that day we got the key to our new house and now the internet is up and running. I'm looking at tires and trying to find a decent set. After that im gonna start getting my new exhaust setup together :)

So I should be getting a new set of tires by the end of next week which means I have to start looking into camber plates so the front insides wont wear. I'm on a really tight budget because I'm going to South Africa in december so I have to save my money. Hopefully soon I'll have enough saved then I can turn my focus back to my car but in the mean time heres some pics of the car after being washed for the first time since paint.

I used SEM trim paint and ordered it from Summit racing. Before I got this stuff I used duplicolor trim paint and SEM is by far the best trim paint I've used. I read that it has clear coat mixed in the paint. I can get you the part number if you want it?
