Hey guys/gals I was wondering if anyone could help a fellow stanger out. I have a friend in Germany who just finished building his turbo 94' SN95 Cobra. He can't seem to get it started. I couldn't attached the video he uploaded because it is on another site. Here is the link if i'm allowed to post it. Hopefully someone can help. http://forums.mightymustangs.net/index.php?automodule=downloads&showfile=336

Thanks

It says I don't have permission to download it. Maybe if he wrote up what was wrong and what he tried to fix we could help.

True. Hmm well is there a way I can upload a video greater then 800 KB? [In the video he provides ] The car appears to be starting up but then it dies, he tries it over and over and it seems like it will work but it just dies. I'm not sure cause i'm not over seas.

that sounds to me like its misfiring like crazy. could be just me though. he might want to double check all of the ignition components.
the 2 times he had it "running" for about 5 sec. it sounded like it was on 2 cylinders. just my 2 cents though. post up videos whenever
he gets it running right

From what I can recall he plugged up all the EGR stuff. Now i'm not sure what exactly he means by plugged up. I sent him this link so hopefully he'll go on here and can help explain what exactly he is doing. THanks for the input you guys have provided so far.

We just had a hell of a time getting my buddies '94 Cobra with a 331 to start, then to STAY started... check the plugs and wires, and make sure the timing is set properly... come to find out, all he needed was new plugs, and the timing set. car's run like a beauty ever since... :dunno:
