alright, rebuilding a 96 coupe v6, and the window switch bezels are broken, and i can't seem to find a replacement anywhere.
these bezels are kinda odd, they only have the cut out for the power mirrors, and all i can seem to find are the ones with cut outs for mirror switch and windows, any ideas? thanks.

Any pics of what you need. I think i have some!
no pic atm, but i can get one in the morning, its the plastic insert in the door thats the pull handle/arm rest/and usually has the mirror and window switches in it, i need the ones that only have mirror switch on driver side and completely blank on passenger side. i will take a pic tmrw and post it though/

Looking for these right, for a manual window setup? I just did a quick search that yielded nothing unfortunately.

this is starting to make me wonder about this car now. did some research and talked to a friend of mine, that had a 95 v6, and nothing seems consistant with this car.
it has no electric options other than the mirrors, which acording to ford is complete base line model for that year. on the other hand it has the t5 trans instead of the t45. my friends 95 had strut suspension all around where as mine has seperate coils and shocks, a 4link rear suspension, and what i can only describe as a wishbone front suspension. also, the 96 3.8l engine is rated at 150HP and 225ftlb torgue (i think) and this one seems to have much more power than that. top speed from what i've read is supposed to be 116mph....i've had this thing at 130 and not even tacked out...plus there is no rev limiter...which i think there is supposed to be...anyone have any ideas on this? or is my reading way off?

it would have a t5, the t45s didn't come out till 96. you can't judge your seat-o-pants dyno on what the car has stock power wise. the suspension is the same as the v6/GTs/cobras of all sn95s with the exception of the rear being 7.5" instead of the 8.8" (all v6's had 7.5"). the base models didn't have any power options so you have nothing unique there, sorry bud. the door cups your looking for are hard to find just because nobody wants them. your best bet is to find a junkyard/swap meet set. post up a WTB and hope to get lucky.

I might venture into the junk yard this weekend to see if I can find a set. You just have a base model car, it's nothing crazy out of the ordinary. Because there's no rev limiter, it's possible it's tuned.

Your top speed is more about your gear ratios and your tire size, its likely it still has the 2.78 gears in the rear, which makes for a very long easy gear.

all mustangs (factory) from 79-04 have two struts in the front, not inside the springs, and in the rear we have shocks, again the shock not inside the coil. And there's 2 lower control arms and two upper control arms.

As noted, your biggest difference is the 7.5 to 8.8

This was my next suggestion. Just fake out the power windows.

Also like others said it will be tough to find them, you're limited to junk yards and putting up "wanted" adds. You could also try and call your Ford dealer and ask the parts department. It's a long shot but only a phone call away.

Those are the GTS panels and I have never seen them made myself.

buy the stockers and then make a trip to autozone to the adhesiv/filler area and pick up an epoxy called plastic weld. Take a piece of masking tape and cover the hole on the top of the panel, mix the plastic weld and then apply it from the back side to the tape and filll the hole. Wait a few hours and then pull the tape off, you will probably need a small skim-coat and maybe some high-build primer while sanding to sand the filler smooth to fill the hole. Some paint now and yer done.

skip the glass and try the plastic-weld I talked about above. Its easier/cleaner to do and also sands easier, while bonding ot the plastic for a better hold then glass. I could do it for you if you do not want too.

there are alot of plastic glues out there that will work until you can track down a replacement. just be sure to glue/cement the INSIDE. these peices pop off rather easily, but I suggest using a flat head to make sure....

Also, many of our cars came with roll up windows. Crappy V6s had them, and 248a option GTs had them, and GTSs had them. :)
