Aluminum Driveshaft yes or no???

I just got a New SVE mongoose clutch, and a Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel. Should i get the driveshaft also?

for 300 bux off jegs, or 150 used.... id do it... just another thing to mark off the list.

i have yet to break mine...
if you are a ballar, like me, get a carbin fiber one... the ladies love it.

a ton of places are on backorder i found them at Brothers Performance 289 shipped. I tried getting a used one bu the guy sent me pics and now he won't respond. GRRRRRRRR

dang man, thats rough.


when you get a used one, budget in a balance check, new u joints, and a wash down... cost: $75.00 ish.

Yeah and then your up at 225 when you can get a new one and have piece of mind also. Then not even have to deal with the time it takes to do that :)

commercial organizations tend to get cheaper fares on shipping.

if it explodes on your first test drive, you can complain to the comapny.

Yeah i might as well order one from a company. Anyone else have any personal experience

i have one, i got it for dirt cheap something someone with sense wouldnt let go
but if it wasnt for that, i would find a better way to spent $250.00 +
so No.. just me, im weird lol

You also have a Bone Stock motor with a heavy ass flywheel. I think it is always a good idea to have less rotational mass so you put less stress on the parts. Combining a Alum Driveshaft with a Alum flywheel i have just dropped the rotational mass by a good bit.

Stock Flywheel 25 pds
Alum Flywheel 13.5
Stock Drive Shaft 22.5
Alum Driveshaft 14pds

So that Equates to 21 lbs less rotational Mass. That's a significant amount in my book :)

21 pounds??? dang... thats what i weight soaking wet. :p
