Welps, seen the black terminator again full of people this time.. lol. No whine though. Anyone know whats the rpm range when the supercharger kicks on? It seems they can get on hard, but the whine doesnt happen.

it doesn't kick on at any given RPM, its based on load and how open the throttle is.

That's how every supercharger is... there's nothing wicked about the technology in Eaton superchargers unless you consider inefficiency and heating up air as wicked lol.

I drove an '04 Cobra and it didn't impress me, i think they're over-hyped because of the 600whp ones everyone sees online.

Yea but do you know how easy it is to get them up 100+ hp and like 150tq?

Theyre heavy so they tend to not be all that impressive in stock form, I mean they only run high 12s or so stock...which doesnt feel that fast with a roots blower and a stock 3800 lb car.

The 03/04 Cobras are impressive but I wouldnt get rid of the 94 Cobra to get one.

yes no doubt they have huge power making potential but it's still not cheap. Lets just say after riding in both cars I was more impressed by an almost stock C5 vette than I was the '04 Cobra.

You can make the supercharger whine by just doing a burn out or you can be going along at 65 MPH in 5th gear then stuff it into third and it will whine away.

I raced an 04 Cobra and won alas, i was driving my friend's termy swapped, 96 Cobra [full exhaust, pulley, ported blower, 4.10s, dyno tune, etc] but still a sn95 right??

The 96 Cobra was involved in an accident. I believe they yanked the drivetrain and are putting it into my friends 94 GT.
