yeah well, i'm off tomorrow so i'm thinkin about trying it again. if you guys weren't tuned in last time i tore it down to the fuel rails and realised that i didn't have the tool to pop the fuel rails out to continue with the swap.

to catch everyone up. i have the intake, some 5/8s hose, rtv, the pi alternator bracket, and the fuel line seperator.

so here is some more questions..

1. do i have to pull the water pump off? for the new hose to be ran
2. do the fuel injectors just "pop" out? <---- really don't want to fuck these up.
3. and if they do . do you just have to "press" them into the new intake.
4. god damnit, i really don't wanna f this up so if theirs anyone that wants to shoot me some advice or maybe a step by step. please do.

and i might try this again in the morning... the more i think about it i wanna do it. but i just don't have the budget for mistakes.

Answers....
1. I had to pull my water pump off to change out the nipple for the new hose and to minimize the fluid from pouring into the valley pan when changing the tube.

2. Yes the injectors just pop out and no they are not as flimsy as you think, they are delicate but nothing they will break the minute you touch it. they will just press right in and you will feel them seat in good.

3. Yes just press them in and install the rails then and bolt down the rails and then you done messing with the injectors.

4. Just take your time and do not rush it and just go step by step. Remove all the stuff you can easily unbolt and take off tho get to of your way. then remove the fuel rails and injectors. Then finish removing all things to be bale to remove the intake. after that once the intake is removed take a break....lol....then clean everything and prep it for installation. Then its basically just installing all the new stuff.

Good Luck

Willis Since your not takeing the nipples and swaping them and using the PI tube. You wont have to remove the water pump. Its a fairly easy swap. And just take ur time.
