so this was weird??

so i really dont drive my car on the weekends because i dont want to run it to death, but it sat all weekend and i started it up to move it so i could wash it, and it acted like it was out of gas and wouldnt move or respond to the gas pedal. it just did a muffled sounds like it was out of gas, full tank BTW then i turned it off and maybe 5 mins later if that, i started it back up and it the same thing??? but it didnt do it anymore this morning or since then... can somebody give me ideas on what this is?

No I had to take the fitting with the tire valve looking thing out of the rail and threaded a gauge in. Now I'm running a aeromotive regulator and my I get my fuel for my wet nos kit from the end of the rail now

"Bring the car to someone that knows what they are doing, your playing with fuel not water" ..there is a K.I.S.S guide line to follow for this, not knowing how to go abouts can cause damage and in some cases injuring to you....your car is to nice, take it to someone you trust

i know alot about these cars.... sorry idk one thing about them... that is why im asking.. i prefer to work on my own cars so i know the car better and i dont trust alot of the shops around here because 1. they dont treat the cars right and beat on him if the owner isnt there, 2. they trash cars out .... and being that its my car if i mess it up, i can be the only one to blame, most shops will no take the blame and it wont get fixed or blow it off and not even tell you they messed it up

you might be able to get a puel pressure at your local parts house.
the tire vlv thingy is called a SCHRADER VALVE.

There are gauges made just for the shrader valve. Look arund and you can find one. Theyre pretty inexpensive as well.

Mine after sitting starts up and gives me a sputter like its going to die or kinda like a miss until it warms up. Ive come to the conclusion its just moisture in the cap and rotor assembly.

Most of the auto parts stores will rent fuel pressure gauge kits that fit various cars. Dont put a tire gauge on it because you may spray fuel all over yourself lol. The kit will have two different sizes, one for GM cars (which is alot larger diameter shrader valve test port) and one with the smaller Ford size. Just twist it on hand tight and turn the key on off ONCE to see where the pressure is at and then one more time to see where the pressure peaks. it should be at atleast 35 psi with key on engine off, and 35-40 while running and acceleration depending on mods. PM me if you need anymore help and i can walk you through it easier.

If they aren't connected with any other business's, they have to be a building by themselves then they can go out and help you.

I overheard them telling more then one person that in different autozone and advanced stores. I am not sure about O'Reilly's

Both of the stores local to me are in strip malls and they come out and do it all. So I think what you heard was a cop out for some one who didn't wanna go out and do smething. Also I worked for oreilly and we were told to help customers do things from battery install to code readings.
