I like the 2010 over 05-09 models. I like the aggressive look of the GT. As for a body style nothing beats the 94-95.

I like it, the tailights are kinda ugly, but you guys kno there will be a smoked version available in the aftermarket.

I think it looks great! The only part that i don't like so much is the tail, but a nice wing and problem is fixed. Also, its true, in person it looks much better that in the pictures. I saw a whipple-supercharged mustang at the LA autoshow and it was killer! :thefinger:

I think they are focusing more on making the Mustang a nice riding car and the extra weight probably makes it more sound and gives it a smoother ride.

I hate the tails.... but what I don't understand is the plastic bottom rocker strip, THAT IS FOR FRICKIN SUV's, NOT MUSTANG's :boxing:
I live in the Detroit area so I see them all the time with the Manufacturer plates and the tails don't look any better in person. Too slanted... or something.

I think this is it. My brother and I drive Stangs, mine is his old one. Anyways after driving his new one and driving mine with my new gears, he says his feels more like a luxury car vs. mine feeling like an actual muscle car. I can agree, driving his mustang and then mine, mine just drives like an older muscle car should. I do like how smooth the new ones drive but still, they are HEAVY!

like the wheels, love the shelby

like most mustangs, it will need some mods to make it pop.

its the reason why the newer GT's and v6's still have SRA's. cost is definitely a factor, but the main reason was that they wanted the mustang to still feel like a true muscle car.

the increase in weight is mainly due to the safety features on newer cars, I heard this directly from the Ford designers at a SVTOA dinner I went to a few years back.

cost is a major factor on the rear setup, plus you get better traction from a solid axle, setup properly.

its missing the side scoop but instead the quarter panel right below the small window is curved like back in the day.

i love the 2010 mustang i definately think it was time for an update. i dont mind at all that they changed things like the taillights and the scoops, headlights etc. i wish i could have one! but 99-04 are still my favorite body style
