So i picked up a set of Amber fogs from Dafizuck. Great guy to deal with and extremely fast shipping thanks again.

So here is the Question at Hand . They are an Amber Lens. I am going to get a HID KIT for them. Just trying to decide which color. If you want to input a different Kelvin that's fine. But if your one of those oh those won't look good keep your opinions to yourself.

Amber/yellow would be 3k but with the Amber lens if i went with a 4300k which normally would be white should turn out to be yellow.

4300k, imo, would be wayyy to yellow with anything less

Well with the 3k kit it would be more Amber.... the higher you get it fades out.... 4300 should make it bright A** yellow

Idk, amber and yellow are not the same color. 4300k is white so it should shine amber, 3000k is yellow so that mixed with amber might look...yellow orange. so if u want more yellow get 3000K and if you want more amber get 4300k.

I know i didn't say they were the same. They are of the same Hue. I figured the brighter the Kelvin would take the Amber Color out of the lens color. The lower (ie 3k) should keep it primarily amber.

4300K for sure.. Like Onyx said, it would balance the amber out better, than 3000K would be overpowering yellow...

See this is Where i am still trying to figure out...... Amber Lens with the 3k would be Amber. Amber and yellow are two different colors. If i did the 4300K it would basically kinda wash out the amber lens making it yellow i think.

The way i would picture this is you have an Amber fog light and a 3k yellow bulb. That would be two yellow/orange pieces put together. Then, on the other hand you have an orangish yellow lense with a 4300 hid bulb (white) shining through, so basically you have a pure white light shining through an orangish yellow fog lense to produce a yellow color in the end result.

That's just the way i would think it would work, and i would probably get the 4300's.

So..
3k hid and amber lense = extra orangish fogs.
4300 hid and amber lense = nice yellow look.

Idk cause yellow and amber is not going to be amber, it's gonna be a mix. I really don't think the 4300k is gonna wash out the amber making it yellow, but i also haven't seen these lenses in person. I still say 4300k will make it amber and 3000k will definitely make it more yellowish.
