ive just recently come acrossed a 98' cobra motor for real cheap and was wandering how hard would it be to swap the motors and what kind of things are needed, like oil cooler, bellhousing, clutch radiator and things like that
At the risk of sounding like a dick, do a quick search, it's been beat to death. You don't need any extra hard part's though, just some wiring and whatever you would normally replace during a swap
well i went and looked at it today and it was clean...so clean that there was still water dripping off the block i looked at all that i could and i took the stock manifolds off so i could check if they were cracked i also took the valve covers off so that i could look at the cams....all in all it looks good and i should have it soon depending on my girlfriends new job(she lives with me and doesnt pay any bills)
You better jump on it for that price. Hell even the block alone is worth more than $300. It should be a easy swap also. You can just use your existing harness and then extend a few wires and have a custom program built for it.
well the engine is going to have to wait becuase my insurence just went up like 200 dollars :'( so ill be looking for a new company to go with but ill try and keep yall posted
