I have bbk aftermarket valve covers on my motor. Lately I've been noticing a small amount of smoke coming out of the hood. I've been told that these valve covers are to blame.
Its been explained to me that because the valve covers don't utilize gaskets and they instead are sealed with RTV. The RTV may be going back causing a bad seal allowing smoke to escape.
Should I just reseal the valve covers or invest in some stock covers and avoid a reccuring situation?
Thanks guys.
