So I just bought a 94 gt with air intake bigger throttle body and pypes side exaust. Guy didn't know what type of anything was on the car. Trying to figure out which headers will fit. Been wanting a Sn forever now but never had the chance until now so I really don't know much of what I'm doing. Trying to get the most out of it on a budget. Also this is the first forum I've ever joined.... ever. A lil help would be great. Thanks

If your asking which headers will fit, then that’s kind of a broad question. And by that I mean, do you want shorties, tuned length shorties, full length?!? Are the heads stock or aftermarket? What’s your plans with the car?

Yes it’s a lot of questions but thing you need to ask yourself and respond before we can help you.

Welcome, and as Scott said, pics please!!! :)

On a budget? I got my intake manifold, headers, throttle body, Cobra brakes, Cobra rear axle, subframe connectors, strut tower brace, and camber/caster plates off Craigslist. Check out the sales at American Muscle. I also got things like taillights, spoilers, and interior pieceslike door panels and air bags at my local pull it yourself wrecking yard for cheap.

Im using this forum via my phone and can't figure out how to post pics yet. Once again, new to this. And it has stock heads on it. It has "pypes" side exaust and I'd like to keep the exause just add headers I just don't know size and if they will line up with the exaust I already have. Also I'm trying to get the most horse power on a budget. In other words, no turbos or superchargers are in that budget haha. I'ma try and figure out the pic thing. Thanks guys

First things first, download Tapatalk. Then search for this forum and login. Then you can go through all the threads and anytime you want to post you can do it straight from your phone.

Look at my screen shot. Under the typing area you can see the images. The camera image allows you to take a pic while in the forum and the middle image allows you to pic from your library.

If you have any questions about it just ask. Several of us use it.

As far as the headers go, bbk shorties are cheap and easy to install but only add marginal gains. A good set of full length headers are gonna my to run you a lil more and are harder to install but will net you a decent gain.

Well I downloaded it but it says upload failed whenever I try and add a pic. And with the long heads, will I have to alter the exaust or will it line up as is?

It will depend on how they ran the exhaust. Do you have any under car pics by chance?

Just what I was thinking. If they ran the side exhaust off stock manifolds, a set of BBK shorties should bolt right up. If not...

Anything is doable my friend. Just depends on how much work you wanna do and what it looks like underneath.

Man to be honest I just got home from work and didn't get a chance with daylight. We're on 7 12's right now trying to meet an impossible deadline at work. I do know it goes past the tips and turns back and out. Kinda like a Shepard's hook. And if it's worth the trouble to alter the exaust that's on there, then yea I'll do extra work but if we're talking a matter of 3-5 hp with headers that'll bolt right up, then I'd rather go that route. As you can probably tell, I don't have time to really work on this thing. But if I do get a day off, I'm wide open on this thing. Also do y'all shifter kinda vibrate in gear at about 4.5-5 rpm when holding?

So today I was going down the highway and I decided to get on it and it started to hesitate above 100 mph. What would cause this.? Foul plug?

Well supposably this year but I think there's one fouled. It has one of those sct bully chips in it. He says normal riding leave it on 2. And says 3 will make it run more lean.(don't notice anything). I'm also thinking this thing has a gear in it even though he said he didn't put one in it.
