Ok boys and gals!

I'm going to tear into this motor. Soon. I must get faster..Yes, everyone. The PI swap shall happen soon. BUT

I've looked into doing a turbo set up on my car. And am wondering, what would be best? My motor is starting to leak a little oil, so the PI swap would be a good thing to do.

Or a turbo. Instant forced induction power, I've always wanted to do it.

Now I know I could do BOTH..but I've heard there's no way to do a PI swap if it bumps up your compression 10:1, you could only run a few lbs of boost otherwise it would detonate your motor. I realize I'd have to have some turbo cams, different mufflers down the line (non chambered?), but whats the deal on this..?

And no I dont really want to do nitrous. Sorry :)

how much money are you willing to spend?

cause the RIGHT way would be to get your NPI heads massaged a little bit and new springs/keepers/ valves/guides and everything. and then put your choice of cams and the blower/turbo on top of it.

but I think if you're trying to stay on a budget ( like most of us) then you could just put pi cams in the npi heads and a pi intake and then add your turbo and be done with it.

forge the bottom to support it for a decent s/c. with a lower compression pistons. so many options. but im going to nitrous soon with a naturally aspirated motor. so im going with high compression and pi swap.
