I'll be making a new PS res bracket soon and figuring out a few other little things to. I'll make a running idle video tomorrow.

IDK 550-580 I'm not puttiing it on the dyno till next season after I learn everything about this Sniper tuning stuff.

that is super clean.. Where did you put the coil packs? Too bad you mod guys can't do something about that ugly ass alternator.

Looks great mike and I agree with desert, I hate how the alternator stick out like a sore thumb.

It's the first thing you see when you pop the hood. It'd be OK if it was somthing good to look at but it's not. YUK but the rest of the motor is sweetness

The coil packs are now Under the Intake Manifold and wires were cut to shorter lengths. I guess the 2v alternator is your Pushrods A/C unit. Now there's a sore thumb that sticks out. I like the Alternator were it's at.

Hows that Blue Top working out for you?
I've had the red and now Yellow and neither will hold up for more than 2-3 years with me only driving it once a month or so....

3 years so far and no issues. I even just left it in the garage over the winter, without starting the car and without issues.

yeah, its ugly, but its not on top of the engine :) nice and tucked away under the funky p/s pump...

I didn't think deserts comment and mine will start a 5.0 4.6 debate, it was just our point of view. I don't bash anyone here for what they drive

BTW when posting pics on any forums expect: Criticism,opinions and discussion.

For me anyway it's all fun and games. We're all sn'95 brothers and sisters, and we like poking fun at our differences. There's only a few things I take serious, and what someone else thinks about what I drive isn't one of them.

I like the fact that you took the time to make sure the alt matched the rest of the motor parts

Looks great and incredible job on hiding the coils and wires

Can I ask what is going on with the alt bracket setup though?

There was no debate and I don't mind criticism, lol. I've been on this board since it started and I even run a few sites so I definitely know about criticism and like I said, I don't mind it but Javi, at no point in this thread is your "Expect criticism" comment necessary and it really seems out of line and almost argumentative in itself. My reply to "desert" was in no way argumentative and was only meant as a tuche' and was left at that. It pains me that I have to take the time to even write this. I don't care that someone said they don't like where my Alternator is, It's not like I designed it or have any control over it. To argue over it would be moot and ridiculous.

The Alternator bracket is my PITA for the week, lol. (Actually more like two.) I made a stainless bracket that took me the better part of a day to cut drill, polish and I thought I was all good. Till the day I went to do final assembly, that is. When I took my measurements for the brackets I failed to have the intake bolted down (which I didn't realize) and when I went to put it all together, the Bracket was a half inch to short. I was so pissed, I didn't go back out to the garage for a week or more. I'll make another bracket soon, I just wanted something qu ick so I can drive the car around for a while.

Next up will be to have everything Powder Coated like Edelbrock Edurashine. It's going to be HOT. Although, I don't know if I'm going to wait till I get the Edelbrock Plenum and 90mm Tb first. I guess it's just a matter of time vs. money. Thus far I've spent more on my engine than I did on my car, lol.

There's still a lot more for me to do. Any suggestions are welcome. (As long as they are reasonable, of course; I can't redesign the engine, lol.)
