One of these days it would be nice to have a 2 or 4 post lift.

But yea, never rely on a jack, SPECIALY when getting under the car at all. I'm not a big fan of ramps, but I've used them once in a while. Never with ramps up front and jacks or stands out back tho, that just sounds dangerous.

i dont trust ramps. my dad was driving our old van up on them and as son as he was all the way up they collapsed. it was pretty crazy

That's terrible. I usually try not to get under the car that's just on a jack. Use a jackstand every time, and wheels under the car sometimes as well

I have 6 jack stands. 2 that are 3 ton and the others are 2 tons. When I was doing the last project on my car and had it up in the air for a long time I was always thinking.....wish I had more jack stands b/c I was using all the ones I had at the time lol. The car is pretty solid with 6 under it though, just not a lot of room once your under it b/c they tend to get in the way, but Id rather work around them then have the car fall on my face.
