not to be skeptical. but is that all the mods u have that are in ur sig? if so unless the cobra wasnt a cobra and just badged or hurt i think it was more he actually won and not "apparantly."but i dunno i wasnt there so i dunno. regardless some ppl are just douche bags.

i said apparantely because we werent racing side to side, we were already doing 65 when we took off and he was in the same lane as me just right in front,yes it was a cobra it had the amber tailights, its was a 99, and why are the people that are tellling me that i cant beat a cobra are actually cobra owners! but i knew i wasnt gonna win with my stock npi, maybe after gears and pi swap and tune maybe

prolly cuz gt owners think they can beat everything :tongue3: and i dunno about the other but i dont just jump on a bandwagon and believe everything on the internet. and u might with some mods to the pi when u swap it, but we are forgetting that the cobra might have mods too. but hey regardless, if u feel that since cobra owners are the only ones calling bs because a npi is saying he beat a cobra.

You're going to run into this "Style" of person everywhere. there is always that "tool" in a mustang (doesn't have to be a mustang though) that has to rev up excessively at everything and everyone, and then want to race everything and everyone. I know that might be a little bit exaggerated, but where i live, it can be held true more than 75% of the time. i always get the people that like to mess with me and then while they're trying doing all of it, it's like they're just pissed off at everything. What's wrong with seeing someone, showing each other what you got and then just leaving it at that. all the people i see leave on a wrong note it seems like. I've waved at many people after we were done running a little bit or just messing around, just to see them look at me really weird. oh well, rant over.

Best thing you can do is just ignore it. You'll notice that it pisses them off more rather than adding more fuel to their fire by getting mad with them..

why thank u, im glad we can clear things up in a mature manner, but yes i agree at this point my car is a npi with only mods listed in my sig, i know i cant beat a cobra but the right mods should put me closer, truth is i would kill for a white 96-98 cobra coupe but my insurance would be killing me, a termi would be sweeter but high insurance rates and a payment= three jobs(i already have two)

what would be cool is if u get a 351 mod block that uses the 5.4 crank. mount some ported pi heads to it and prolly gonna need a custom manifold, and a custom cams and it would be bad a*s. not to mention i just want to see one of these 351 mod blocks in action.

I alway's get idiot's here in the kissimmee, orlando, celbration area that wanna race! every idiot out here, mostly ricer's some odlly enough in respectably built foreign car's, but most are idiot's in their oil burning 1.6L sohc civic's that seem to be automatically and magnetically attracted to my car as soon as they see the rear cobra bumper! or hear my exhaust. I usually bait them in! at a traffic light or let them line up... But I dont race, I let them take off on me and coast away, it seems to get a laugh from the people around me and I have gotten a few thumb's up from other driver's, I guess for not wasting my time... but there are a few occasion's when I just feel the need to show someone that a 4v Cobra is not to be fucked with! then when I hand their asses to them I let them catch up and the first thing out of their mouth's is usually... Oh! that's a REAL Cobra??? :dontknow: always makes me laugh!!!

The only person that has tried to race me in the past two years, was a worked-up supra, and he would only go from a 55 roll. I was cruising on the highway, so I wasn't gonna come to a dead stop, but he didn't even give me a chance to get into 2nd gear, and mashing it in 3rd does next to nothing.
