I have some GT40 Heads that are ported and have bigger valves that I'm putting on my 347. CR is 8.5:1 building it for boost but gonna run it NA till I get the funds. I read the sticky and was just wondering if I should use stock plugs or do you have any suggestions? Also I was wondering what the difference between a racing plug and the others. :dontknow:

stock or 1 step HOTTER due to the lower static compression.

really depends on the type of driving you'll be doing. if you will do alot of short trips etc i'd go stock, for a highway cruiser i'd go 1 colder.

i'd just use a stock autolite 764. that's what i run in gt40 heads and i've got a low compression 347. when i spray nitrous i use autolite racing 32s, wich are two steps colder.

the difference between normal plugs and racing plugs is the grounding strap, that thing you adjust when gapping. regular plugs strap goes completely over the electrode while a racing plug strap might just come to the edge of the electrode.

don't bother using e3 plugs or any other plat plug, especially boosting or nitrous.
