Honestly, I went my rounds with these cheapo tires, Kumho's, and Nexum, Fuzion. They are all not the advertised size, and hard as a rock, until you heat them, then they feel like butter and still dont hook...

Like everything else in life, quality costs, so if you are after a cheap tire that will last and fit the car, and that's it, then go with these low end makers, but don't expect real performance from them

pretty much the story of my cars whole life, spin spin spunny spun.. i could just pull it down to low.. drive a long and then bump it to second, and add just a little bit more peddle force on the gas, and it'll just roll along 4k rpms spinning in second while going like 25.. kinda funny because it has no issues doing it, and people just kinda look :coolsmiley: I'm got sumitomos.. they do decent for what i ask. Cut 2.0 60's on them which is decent

:tickedoff: I've had Yoko's and BFG's , also sumotomo's and Kumho's and i got kumho's right now and never had a damn problem. Hooks well and only spins when the road is cold and the tires are cold after a night of sitting. Some Times and I mean SOMETIMES you don't have to spend a shit ton of money on a tire that has a nice flashy well known name to have a good tire. You can take that to the bank.

I have no idea why some of you are having traction issues anyway. I never did for like 9 years at near stock power levels. Learn to modulate the gas I guess.

But if you really push a Kumho on a road course, or even a windy road, then a BFG, you'll notice a night and day difference.

Never really been on a road course, but windy road yea. But i don't have much problem now since some eibach's, KYB's, Poly bushings, and sway bars lol. Helps out

i guess some folks just dont believe the myth that there are strong NPI's out there for some reason :idiot2: :boink: Don't know, for some reason even with a good set of tires this car really likes to roast the tires. It's strong for an automatic car, don't know why, but it is.

Just an FYI, shitty trannies don't like hard launches on MT ET Streets. Carnage pics in a few weeks when its warm enough to take the tranny out of the car.

My car is like that..but im like on the ground with fuzion zris

get the bridgestone counter parts to that tire. worlds better if you ask me. its the Bridgestone Potenza RE-750. awesome tire. with 275's in the back, i hardly get any wheel spin and i cant get them to chirp anymore. awesome when you're going around a corner too. :dancing6:

I'm running the RE750's all around, 245/45/17 in the front and 275/40/17 out back and they hook pretty good when it's warm. Now that's it's cold they are horrible. And they're crappy in the rain, too. They've lasted me about 30,000 and they still have 4-5/32's left all around. I'm looking around for new set now and propably won't get them again.

depending on how cold it is, they arent that bad. out here, the coldest we get is like 30-40* at night. i was out at my friends house a few weeks ago and it got lower than that (out in the desert), and yeah, they arent the best tire when the roads are colder than freezing, but then again thats why its a summer tire and not an all season tire. for me, they work great. even when its 50* or maybe a little colder, they still grip when taking corners and i rarely get any squeal out of them.

as for the rain........i love these tires in the rain. ANY tire in the rain, if you punch it from a dig or just floor it at low speeds, is gonna spin. these tires are awesome if you want a tire that will resist hyrdroplaning in the rain, not if you want traction when you launch in the rain.

these tires are great for me, have always delivered when i push my car to the limits. great tires for what i use them for.
