I saw some eibach sportlines on craigslist, they have 4k miles on them and selling them for 165. I have no clue when i could get the time to install them, it would probably be a long time, but i think the price is pretty good.

do you think it would be better to get them brand new?

Haggle that dude down.....Down ALOT...like to $125.... Say they are on sale on the internet.

.... The instal can be done in a afternoon....Its easy stuff.

I told Red it was easy and didnt believe me and payed a shop to do it....then he had to do it Part 2 and did it himself and was amazing how easy it was.

Red should chime in about now

i didn't know about that discount, i thought all ours were just if we bought something a percentage came back to the site :dunno:

I'd much rather have them brand new, and that's a good price for new. The only thing is that I don't have a credit card :/ so i'd rather pay cash.

I've heard from alot of people that I won't need them, then on here, everyone says that you need them.

I want them but :dunno: how do I install them? is there a thread somewhere?

1. Get caster camber plates
2. Do the install yourself. Nothing is more aggravating than redoing a job yourself the right way when you paid $200 for someone else to do it wrong.

I thought it was going to be a lot harder than it was to install. All it takes is a bit of common sense, reading around, and some confidence and it's cake.

If you go with Maximum Motorsports you will have to drill a fourth whole in the strut tower. You just flip the existing plate around and mark the hole, then drill. There are spacers and washers that need to be in the right order. MM came with really nice directions...

I'd probably go with maximum motorsports because I've never heard anything bad about them. I just don't know anything about c/c plates, like how to adjust them? and how do you know if your tires are at the right degrees?

kinda stupid but if you have c/c plates can you still get a front end alignment? I assume you really wouldn't need one?

me and my dad did my CC plates plus springs. it was easy.

we just put the CC plates in the center both ways and then took it to get aligned. everything was pretty dead on as far as alignment went.

Just put everything back together. Then go get it aligned. The purpose of the plates is to allow the alignment shop to adjust your settings so you don't get uneven tire wear. Without them there might not be enough adjustment in the stock plates.

thanks alot I'm starting to understand in alot more, and sorry for some of the stupid questions :hammer: I hope these are the last ones

I was looking at the install instructions on mm's website and it looks like you install the plates in a negative or positive position, and that you add spacers to the top or the bottom? how will you know which position and how will you know what spacers and where to put them?
