thanks alot I'm starting to understand in alot more, and sorry for some of the stupid questions :hammer: I hope these are the last ones

I was looking at the install instructions on mm's website and it looks like you install the plates in a negative or positive position, and that you add spacers to the top or the bottom? how will you know which position and how will you know what spacers and where to put them?

The plates will be in the positive direction as this is recommended for street cars. I'm assuming negative will give you more extreme adjustments for racing. The spacing is determined by how much clearance there is between the strut shaft and the hood. The instructions that came with the kit is really detailed with both pictures and a step by step writeup making it easy to follow.

another choice could be a camber bolt kit is cheaper but i only suggest you to get it if you dont get the cc plates AND IF YOU CANt GET your alignment done

The Camber bolt kit can help you to get your alignment done if it is up to 1.7 off what its supp. to be
Camber bolt kit is no more than $30 and the install is a breeze

never dealt with the camber bolt kit so it might be worth it.. dont know much about them but CC plates you should just get. i guess if you can get it aligned without them, you dont really need them but im the type of person that likes to get the best of things and i saw the CC plates fit for my car. they definitely can't hurt anything besides your wallet and they are only 200 bucks at that.

and dont think your asking stupid questions. i would say i know more about cars than the average 18 year old by far but i dont know a whole lot of info about them. thats why i come here to talk to you guys. keep asking away man, some of these questions other people probably have as well. :thumb: :thumb:

thanks guys :thumb:

probably within the next few months I'll be getting the sportlines and probably some c/c plates from mm, for $400 doing it right you can't beat it.

that camber bolt kit looks like it would be a good thing to do too since I'm only going with street use. but idk yet, c/c plates seem like they would be the right thing to do.

we'll see, first i have to get a job again :/ then comes a new catted x pipe with weld in slp's (would weld in's be weird? or should i got with the whole cat back?) alot of extra money for cat back, so i'd have to put off x pipe and lowering for a while

For some reason I can't get my 315s to fit up front :dunno: so that's out of the question if he wants bigger wheels :p
