Ok I have been trying to see if anyone would trade me a Pro Kit for my Springs, but it being my daily it would be pretty hard. Long story short, Found a set for a REALLY REALLY good price. One problem.

The rears are http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=1344 these.

The fronts are brand new and are for a 94 v8 non vert. Just the rears have me thinking.

Will these fit right?

And since they are for a fox vert will the height be really funked up or just slightly higher or lower than normal pro kit?

Ok im gonna be getting the adjustable MM lower control arms anyway.

So should I just go ahead and get them or is the spring rate going to be really stiff because of it being for a vert? Maybe even too soft? And they should fit just fine though right, physically?

i believe vert springs are softer than coupe springs. most companies will stick to that with the springs they market too, so these might be a little too soft for you. the ride height and fitment should be no problem at all.

They couldn't be any softer than sportlines right? lol. Wouldn't that be better for at the track anyway I mean as long as its not ridiculous.

not sure really, most companies are hush-hush with their spring rates and dont disclose them. i figured best bet would be to call them up and ask them what the spring rates are. i figure if they are too soft, they might be too soft for track use and will cause you to keep bottoming out when you launch. but i really have no idea.

Well on here , http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/springratesarticle.asp

I cant see them being less than the 140 sportlines start out at. I have tried calling them. I was on hold forever both times. Maybe Ill give it another shot. I was just hoping that someone else did the same thing or at least knew. Thanks for the insight so far though.

you got me on that one. when you said you tried calling, did you try calling eibach or did you try calling stangsuspension? whichever one you tried, if you cant get a hold of them, try the other one. like you said, i cant imagine them being any softer than the 140lb sportlines, but is that going to be ok with you? technically you are going to be going softer than stock....

I tried calling Eibach. They had me on hold for 20 min each time. I talked to someone on the live help thing on stangsuspension. They said they did not know for sure. I imagine it cant be all that bad, I dont really want them as soft as the sportlines. I could just deal with it though. I dont see it being any more soft than people that put stock 4cyl springs on???? I could be wrong but I would imagine those are quite a bit softer than what im looking at.

The fronts are just the 79-04 V8 non vert springs. The rate should be 425-530 progressive. Im gonna try giving Eibach a call again tomorrow.

WRONG.... vert springs are 100lbs stiffer that the coupe ones. You will not like the ride.
