Yup, got on it a little bit last night and lost all kinds of power. Now i have a knock in the bottom end.
Most likely a spun bearing.
This blows, I am broke as a joke right now. NEED it back on the road asap.
Now accepting paypal donations lol
Seriously, i don't know where I'm even going to start.

That really sucks, but the place to start is yank it out of there and see whats wrong, its free and you can decide where to go from there,

I have no spot to take it out. i'll have to have a shop do it. hence the reason why no $$$$ is sucking right now.

Where's the kid with the $6500 seats? I want the $6500 that he had sitting on the seats in one of those pics. lol

That's why I bought a Honda to daily drive. I hated worrying about fixing the car I need to drive to work everyday. Stresses me out.

Good luck with the repair man. I hope it's not hideously expensive. (but as with all 4v stuff, it probably will be)

Sucks to hear.

I guess your best bet would just be to have the pan dropped and new bearing set put in there(not the BEST way to do it I know.)

Chances are the crank didn't get to fubared and you can just get away with a fresh set of bearings... Who knows, it might run for 100k after that. :)

NOT buying a Honda or any other Foreign vehicle.
I own a 95 Escort that gets 42 mpg.
I can't let the car sit forever or my neighbors will bitch and moan, that's why it needs to be fixed asap.
Now, give me some $$$$$ lol

LOL, not happening. Once the car warms up you can hear a knock when you rev it up.
Not good.
BOOOooooooooo

Looking into the price comparison between rebuilding it with some stout parts, or I know of a "03 mach mototr with about 30k on it for $2500

It'll be fine, until the snow comes. i always put it away into storage for the winter.
I keep a cover on it anyway, so all you can see is the bottom of the "purdy" wheels. lol

Local guy had a forged aluminum bottom end (short block) for sale recently but i can't get back on the "other" local site. Only wanted a bit more than a grand. Low CR on it but its built for boost. Has i the quahn, I'd have it already. If you are interested I'll see if i can find out more.
